About the job We are looking for a self-driven and strong individual in the capacity of an SAP Finance Lead Consultant to join our vibrant organisation. This role will directly report to one of the Finance Senior Managers. The role is based in Pretoria with a hybrid working delivery mode across multiple clients both in South Africa and outside of South Africa. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid-based environment (combination of office based and remote). The office environment will be based at our Centurion Highveld office in Pretoria. The SAP Finance Lead Consultant is a critical role in enabling the organisation to deliver outstanding and quality work to both the internal and external stakeholders and fulfil commitments to our clients. This is a key role that requires an individual that possesses an exceptional high degree of functional and technical acumen across all the various SAP Finance modules. This role requires a highly resourceful individual with strong professionalism, presentation, self-motivation, excellent verbal/written communication & analytical skills. Responsibilities, Knowledge & Skills Required Provide overall leadership and expertise in delivery of SAP FICO Solutions, for Zimele clientele. Lead a team of Finance Consultants, Junior Consultants and Interns, provide necessary upskilling, knowledge transfer and training required to build versatile Finance resources for Zimele. Collaborate with clients, to assist with the design of the required SAP Finance and Cost Control solution. Provide quality assurance and reviews for SAP Finance solution implementations to our clients. Lead the design reviews of functional configuration and builds during the delivery phase of projects. Lead and coordinate client workshops and provide insights into both SAP Finance Best Practice and Industry Best practice. Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with stakeholders to analyse business needs, functional requirements and come up with recommendations to address client requirements. Deliver detailed design, build, testing, training and deployment and governance within SAP Finance Implementations projects and support. Develop and or coordinate development of project documentations: solution design, functional specifications, configuration, test scripts, acceptance criteria, user acceptance tests, training manuals. Conduct and or Lead delivery of end user training, mentoring and coaching as part of project or solution delivery. Facilitate and or coordinate acceptance and signoff of project deliverables by client's business process owners, super users, project managers. Experience in design and configuration of SAP Finance (FI) including General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivables (AR), Asset Accounting (AA/AM), Bank Management (BL), Treasury (TM), Travel Management (TVLM), Finds Management (FM). Strong implementation experience in SAP CO includes Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Product Costing (CO-PC) and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). Experience in all the phases of implementation from Project planning, requirement gathering, GAP analysis, Blueprinting, Design documentation, Configuration, Testing, Data Migration, Production support and user training. Experience in post implementation support and Cross Modular support for smooth transition from Legacy System to SAP S4/HANA using all SAP developed tools. Strong experience in Integration of Finance with Sourcing and Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Sales processes, Banking, SAP Success Factors Payroll and other third-party integrations. Understand the principles of best practice solutions well and be able to deliver best practice solutions Understanding and experience in SAP Activate Methodology Experience in implementing SAP brownfield and greenfield S/4HANA projects preferred. Role Requirements Minimum of 5 years of related or similar work experience Degreed or Diploma in IT/Computer Science/Information System Must be certified in SAP Finance Effective communication in English (written and verbal) Must have strong Computer literacy competency Prepared to undergo technical assessments High level of flexibility and openness to work extended hours when necessary Able to successfully navigate within varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Ability to build strong, professional, cross-functional working relationships with internal & external stakeholders At Least 3 end-to-end full life cycle implementation experience in S/4 HANA.
