Qualifications & Requirements:- Completed BCom in Accounting
- Completed SAIPA articles
- 3-5 years experience within the Logistics industry in a similar role
- Staff Management experience
- Proven experience in a similar role within the logistics or related industry
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective leadership and communication abilities
Responsibilities:- Managing daily smooth running of finance department
- Sitting with the CFO in EXCO, Audit committee & Board of directors meetings presenting financial results and any other clarity
- Ensuring that cost allocation in the general ledger is accurate.
- Analyzing general ledger and trial balance on a daily basis to ensure precision in all entries.
- Drafting of annual Financial Statements ("AFS") on caseware.
- Good application of PFMA, MFMA IFRS, GAAP
- Prepare financial viability and feasibility studies on new projects and development.
- Review and monitor of completeness of accounting entries, payments and the integrity of disbursement infomation in the group accounting systems.
- Ensure sound ethics, good governance and compliance within finance function
- Direct and monitor all financial activity of the organization.
- Manage company cash flow.
- Prepare and monitor monthly KPIs.
- Outline and implement company-wide budget plans.
- Prepare company financial statements monthly and annually, as needed.
- Month end process reporting.
