Lead the Central Finance and Treasury Teams, reporting to the Head of Finance (de facto CFO) Central Finance: is responsible for the full finance function of 15 legal entities, including tax submissions and work with the in-country managers for financial planning and opex / capex budget. Treasury: manages the payments and collections of c. $500M USD, across 4 core currencies including FX purchasing and facility management As the SNR FM - Ops you will be supported by the Tax Team for complex areas and deliver high quality inputs to the FP&A Team and Audit teams. This dynamic role requires great organisation skills to be combined with deep technical expertise to manage operations and performance across 20 team members. Support the Head of Finance and CEO to deliver strategic initiatives Run the central Finance and treasury operations Accountable for Central finance KPIs Accountable for Treasury KPIs Own Innovation and automation in this space Monitor key KPIs and take remedial action were required Drive JIRA adoption, reporting and Insights Responsible for tax compliance and returns (Tax Manager is Accountable, and complex returns are outsourced to tax team or in-country consultants) Foster cross team collaboration and effective ways of working internally (Fin Ops) externally - broader finance and as a service provider to the organisation Act as the 2IC to the head of finance when required MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications : Qualified CA(SA), CIMA qualification MUST HAVE completed articles from a Big 4 firm such as Deloitte, KPMG, EY (Ernest & Young) or PwC Might consider multinational companies such as Mazars, BDO, Auto & General, Grant Thornton Experience & Skills : Qualified : Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position Not Qualified: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a similar position Good understanding of financial, tax and commercial legislation across multiple African territories Experience in Accounting Software and Payroll Software High volume and automation experience (essential) R80 000 - R90 000 MAX pe rmonth
