Financial Accountant - - Stellenbosch

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional certification such as Chartered Accountant is preferred
Must have proven experience in financial accounting roles
A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices will be required
Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software is important
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Conducting stock reporting and control activities.
Reviewing VAT, payroll, and other financial deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
Compiling management accounts for review.
Maintaining and enhancing financial controls within the organization.
Reviewing payments to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies.
Managing customer credit limits and monitoring credit risk.
Maintaining asset registers and ensuring accurate recording of assets.
Generating reports using ERP systems.
Conducting commission reviews as needed.
