Join our client in shaping their financial journey as they seek a vibrant SAIPA Financial Accountant to infuse dynamic enthusiasm into their team in this Manufacturing company. As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the below: Collaborate with external parties regarding legal matters and coordinate third-party involvement in the review/audit of financial statements. Coordinate with insurance providers concerning assets. Engage with banks to address guarantees and fulfill general operational requirements. Prepare and review asset sale agreements. Manage and analyze budgets and actuals on an annual and monthly basis. Plan for taxes and engage in weekly cash flow planning. Oversee the reviews of accounting transactions/documents processed by the credit controller. Handle the preparation of financial statements and management statements, attending to any SARS audits/reviews. Help with weekly local payments review and foreign payments processing. Implement and review internal accounting controls. Assist in completing tender documentation. Generate monthly group reports covering loan accounts, assessed losses, and group investments. Review financials of all group companies before submission to auditors/reviewers. Collaborate with third parties for the review/audit of the group's financial statements. Offer support in group tax planning. Provide general operational reporting and assistance as needed. Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed BCom in accounting or related field.5 years’ experience in a similar role in finance.Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.SAIPA registered preferred.
