Collaborate with our clients in shaping their financial trajectory as we seek an energetic Financial Accountant to infuse dynamic vitality into a Hospitality industry. As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the below: Documenting all financial transactions accurately and promptly. Maintaining the general ledger to keep a record of accounts. Generating financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Summarizing and presenting financial information to stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Communicating financial results to internal and external stakeholders. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Analyzing actual financial performance against budgeted figures. Reconciling bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Investigating and resolving discrepancies in financial records. Preparing and filing tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Staying updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Providing insights and recommendations to management based on financial data. Establishing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard financial assets. Performing internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Coordinating and assisting with external audits conducted by independent auditors. Providing required documentation and explanations during audit processes. Monitoring and managing cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability. Recommending strategies for optimizing cash resources. Staying informed about changes in financial regulations and ensuring compliance. Implementing and enforcing accounting policies and procedures. Utilizing accounting software and systems for data entry, analysis, and reporting. Keeping abreast of technological advancements in financial software. Job Experience and Skills Required:Completed Bcom in Accounting Science and related field.5 years’ experience in a similar role in finance.Experience in the Hospitality industry preferred.Must be willing to travel.
