We are seeking a talented Financial Accountant with a completed bachelors degree, articles and proven experience in financial management and analysis to join this dynamic team Your duties as the Financial Accountant include: Action regular age analysis and forward findings to the Head of Finance and department managers Provide comments and reasons for variances or discrepancies found Report and escalate critical issues to the Head of Finance Oversee the creditors and debtors team Drive efficiencies and accountability Work closely with Head Office to resolve queries Provide assistance with statutory audits, general ledger as well as post journals Prepare bank reconciliations for all accounts on a weekly basis and submit to the Head of Finance Capture ad-hoc and HR invoices to supplier accounts on Tourplan Proactively contribute efforts to improve accounting processes and reporting Ensure compliance with the Insurance act, Companies Act and Tax regulations Provide assistance on projects with the finance team Skills & Experience: Experience and knowledge of working with IFRS, NAMRA and VAT Minimum of 3 years working in a commercial space Qualification: Relevant Tertiary Accounting Qualification Completed SAICA articles would be beneficial Contact JENELLE COOKSON on 021 418 1750, quoting the Ref: CTF018508.
