Financial Accountant A progressive financial services company is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. The primary task of this role is to respond to financial inquiries by collecting analyzing summarizing and interpreting the financial data. Job Experience & Skills Required: ● Completed relevant BCom Accounting/Finance degree ● SAIPA Articles ● Proficiency in SAGE/Pastel and Advanced Microsoft Excel ● 2 years’ post articles experience ● Insurance or Financial Services background would be beneficial Duties & Responsibilities ● Compile tax filing requirements ● Provide financial advice by studying operational issues ● Provide special reports by studying variances, preparing budgets and develop forcasts ● Update job knowledge by keeping current with financial regulations and accepted practices ● Responsible for monthly payroll for review and sign off Salary is negotiable.
