Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management.
Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely audits.
Monitor cash flow, financial transactions, and capital expenditures.
Provide financial support for project evaluations and investment decisions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) designation is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the mining industry.
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
