We are looking for a financial accountant to join our client FMCG industry based in Modderfontein, Johannesburg. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company. Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action. Prepare management reports, trial balances and cashflow. reconcile the bank and statements. Maintain the financial health of the organization. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans. Develop trends and projections for the firm's finances. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met. Manage and prepare the company's budget. Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained. Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken. Research, track, and resolve accounting problems Ensure all taxation requirements are tracked and submitted timeously manage and run bank recons and bank allocations processing payrol for the company managing debtors/creditors managing cash collections reconning suppliers and loading invoices provide accurate monthly management reports ensuring companies accounting system is up to date and accurate. Completed Bcom accounting/finance degree 3-5 years accounting experience Willing to work in office in Modderfontein R 25 000 - R 30 000 per month
