Join my client's dynamic team, where you can make a significant impact by ensuring precise and efficient financial operations across all departments. This role is based in Sandton, Johannesburg North. Key Responsibilities: Lead and Coordinate Journals and Inter-company Team: Lead a dedicated team, setting weekly tasks and monitoring their timely and accurate execution. Oversee productivity and working hours, approving leave in line with operational requirements. Review team performance, identifying training or development needs. Monitor tools of trade and assist with resolving issues, such as those with SAGE. Maintain Standard Operating Procedures: Regularly review and update Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring they are current and accurate. Align team tasks with the established Standard Operating Procedures. Complete and Accurate Journal and Inter-company Processing: Review business journals and significant inter-company journals for accuracy and approval. Monthly Inter-company Confirmation: Conduct thorough reviews of monthly inter-company confirmations across all departments. Timely Query Resolution: Monitor the status of Fresh Service queries, providing guidance on ad hoc queries from Brands. Coordinate information required by internal and external auditors. Timely Execution of Ad Hoc Projects: Provide guidance and coordinate tasks for ad hoc projects, such as the D365 migration. Accurate and Complete Monthly Operational Reporting: Contribute to the monthly Operational reporting with accurate and complete inputs. Qualifications and Skills Required: Completed BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance related Proven experience in a Shared-Services company (non-negotiable) Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in financial software, particularly SAGE If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
