Financial Accountant - Retail Experience - Johannesburg
Hire Resolve is currently assisting a well-known retail company in their search for a skilled Financial Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual with experience in the retail industry to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various financial accounting duties, including month-end closing activities, financial reporting, and supporting internal and external audits. Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and monthly management reports Support the month-end closing process by ensuring accurate and complete financial data Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts on a regular basis Support the annual audit process and liaise with auditors Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Provide financial analysis and insights to management Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting or audit Experience working in the retail industry is required Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Benefits Salary negotiable and market-related Contact Hire Resolve today for your next career-changing move.
