Financial Accountant (SAIPA) - Middelburg
Our client, in the mining industry, is based in Witbank/Middelburg and they are looking for a qualified SAIPA accountant to join their amazing team.
Ideal candidate: Qualified SAIPA Accountant - ideally living in the Witbank / Middelburg area / surrounds
Responsibilities:
- Monthly management accounts.
- Checking of monthly recons of suppliers.
- Checking of weekly recons of suppliers and credit availability.
- Updating Budget: Creditors, Debit Orders, Cash Payment.
- Assist in account receivables and payables activities.
- Checking customer invoices.
- Checking costings of suppliers.
- Checking and approving of payments.
- Daily update of banks on QuickBooks.
- Checking of balance sheet file for group of companies.
- Compiling of balance sheet file
- Calculating and submitting VAT for group of companies
- Gathering, compiling and submitting documents for SARS audits.
- Submitting EMP201 for all companies.
- Journalise monthly discounts for suppliers after payments are made.
- Completing submitting quarterly State SA reports.
- Internal Financial Statement for group of companies
- Assist in preparing necessary documentations for annual financial audits.
- Provide support and guidance to other departments on financial matters.
- Calculating annual Workman Compensation to be submitted.
Benefits: no medical aid, 5% employer contribution to provident fund from the get-go
Working hours: 7am - 4pm in office
Salary: R45,000 gross
