Financial Accountant, Wellness - South Africa
Village N Life is a leading Tourism and Hospitality company based in beautiful Camps Bay. Langaro and Mint Wellness, part of our portfolio in the wellness sector, seeks a competent Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an energetic candidate with sound financial background to form part of the team who will oversee, design and implement controls to ensure that sound financial decisions are made. Assume primary day-to-day responsibility planning, managing and controlling all financial related activities within the company. Ensure that all financial practices are in line with company policy and all statutory legislation and regulations. To succeed in this role, you will need: Matric Degree or Diploma in Accounting / Cost and Management accountant 2 or more years experience in a similar field Advanced MS Office skills SAGE Evolution Nedbank bank processing (advantageous) Spa accounting experience (advantageous) Responsibilities (not limited to) Preparation of monthly management accounts & Financial reporting, including ensuring revenue generated is accurate and imported to accounting software (EVO) Cost analysis & Control - including analysis of cost vs budget, identifying cost savings opportunities and assisting with const control requirements Supplier invoices and reconciliations Payment of suppliers, including reconciliations, loading payments and remittance advice Cash control Procurement of all spa stock and consumables Payroll functions including time sheets, loading pay register on VIP and calculate commissions and deductions Ensure integrity of the fixed assets register Budgeting and budgetary control Benefits of working with us: Competitive salary Career advancement Technology and cellphone allowances Fast - paced environment Due to the large volumes of applications received, only candidates that meet the minimum requirements will be contacted.
