Reference: PE001115-MVDM-1 Open position : Financial Administrator Location : Port Elizabeth Salary : Market related Job requirements : Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and the accounts payables process Microsoft Office, Pastel Accounting and Sage One Accounting, especially Excel Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Knowledge of SARS compliance requirements Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Duties : Managing accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments to suppliers Managing accounts payable process, for ad-hoc payments and re-imbursements Process invoices received from suppliers accurately and in a timely manner Reconcile supplier invoices with purchase orders or delivery notes Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues with invoices, purchase orders and payments Communicate with suppliers regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies Work together with other departments as needed to resolve payment-related and purchase order issues Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions Prepare and analyse ageing reports for outstanding payables Assist with month-end closing processes Assist with preparation of financial reports as required Completion of credit application forms & recordkeeping BBBEE Submissions Processing of cashbooks (bank and petty cash) Liaison with other staff and management Intercompany billing and processing Bookkeeping of various smaller entities on Pastel Accounting and Sage One Accounting Order books management Ad-hoc customer invoicing Accurate and timely preparation and payment of all fleet vehicle licencing Assisting Accountant as and where necessary Should you meet the above job requirements, please email your CV to alicezwanda.co.za with the subject line “ Financial Administrator” No reply within 2 weeks indicates that you have been unsuccessful.
