Financial Analyst - Monte Vista

Description: RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategy support and tracking Strategy into measurable goals and objectives Lead divisional annual budgeting and planning process, monitor progress, and update forecasts Prepare and present investment cases and product viabilities to GM and Exo Modelling Commercial agreements down to a granular level Performance Management Setting Division KPIs with GM Monitor and report on Divisional financial and operational performance Identify opportunities for efficiency and bottom line improvements Drive performance by actively seeking opportunities to improve commercial outcomes Deep dive available data to bring new insights to management and put these insights into action Data Custodian Develop, maintain and monitor reports to measure performance (Power BI) Ensure accuracy of dashboards and reporting Democratise the divisional data to ensure team members have access to the reports and dashboards they need. Culture Foster a culture of accountability and improvement in the division Act as back up for DFM Working with DFM to find Root cause analysis of exceptions detected Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Graduate with a commerce degree, (CA or CIMA), minimum of 3 years post qualification experience. Management Accounting, Financial or Commercial experience will be an advantage. BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES: Financial Analysis : In depth financial analysis to identify growth opportunities, cost -saving measures and potential risks. Budgeting and forecasting: Prepare budgets and forecasts for the division Commercial Acumen Data Modelling Advanced financial analysis skills Forecasting and budgeting Financial modelling proficiency Data interpretation and presentation Advances excel skills for complex data analysis Basic knowledge of financial software for reporting & Analysis Great attention to detail, with ability to bring things together holistically. Excellent problem-solving skills Commercial Modelling Experience with Power BI advantageous Data visualization tools Adaptability Detail orientated Analytical mindset Ability to work independently on complex analyses. Effective communication skills for presenting insights. Collaborative and able to work in cross-functional teams. Continuous Improvement Hands on approach Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data and information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including executives and technical/non-technical leaders. Very proactive, thorough, detailed, decisive and flexible. Proficient in strategic, long-term, analytical, and critical thinking Very strong EQ, thoughtful and commercial business acumen The ability to work within teams and manage those relationship.
