A JSE listed company that leads the private sector in the fields of education and resourcing is seeking the professional experience of an Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for overall financial support.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

Prepares annual budgets and submits them to Finance Manager for approval
Reviews budgets throughout the year against actual expenditures, monitors daily, weekly, and monthly expenses against purchase orders, and provides advice to staff as needed
Reviews monthly payroll (Draft and Final)
Ensures that Group Shared Services (GSS) follow up with debtors to verify and make necessary adjustments
Oversees and administers the petty cash card system (cashless petty card)
Manages the entire procurement process from start to finish
Monthly monitoring of expenses and income, and delivering comprehensive commentary and feedback to management regarding the status of the income statement
