Qualifications:

BCom in Accounting Degree
Completed Articles would be a huge advantage
Must have at least 5 (five) years experience within similar position in 4 / 5* hotels
Must be advanced/administrative in Pastel, Fidelio/Opera programs
Computer Literate/advanced in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)

Job description:

Full accounting function of the hotel
Ensure strict deadlines are met to produce monthly management accounts
Financial reviews with Heads of departments
Annual budgets
Risk management
Foreign exchange, Working capital dealings, maximizing cash flows and cash management
Liaison with external auditors and preparation of annual financial statements
Implement and monitor Internal controls, corporate governance and IFRS requirements
Staff management and development
Good understanding of the business
Revenue integration from one system to another
Strong experience with month end procedures
Management accounts management quarterly board packs
Deadline oriented is a non-negotiable
