We are looking for a manager to join our compnay. The candidate is required to have strong accounting and managerial skills to improve the efficiency in the department. The person will be responsible for the functions for a group of companies. Responsible for accurate and timeous production of monthly management accounts, ensuring that the monthly reporting is properly planned and executed, and all queries are addressed. Review the reports and assist in sending out the monthly reports. Provide Strategic Management. Oversee payroll administration. Submissions and payment of VAT and PAYE submissions. Assist with VAT administration. Assist with improving and establishing administration systems within the company. Liaison with external parties - suppliers, customers, auditors, SARS and bankers. Strong excel skills and Microsoft proficient. Team leader with strong communication skills. Able to manage a staff of more than 15 employees. Able to travel for work at any given time. Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process Excellent accounting software user and administration skills Accuracy and attention to detail Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Accountancy, CTA & Completed articles will be advantageous Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in a centralized accounting environment Market related salary with medical and provident fund
