The focus of the position will be to ensure management of all financial functions, adherence to the financial policies, requirements and systems of the organisation. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the full finance function of the company. Oversee the financial, compliance and administrative management of the organisation. Preparation of budgets and forecasts. Manage audits (external). Management, which includes providing management insights, of monthly management accounts. Assets, procurement, commercial contracts, debtors and insurance management. Manage payroll and time & attendance. VAT compliance and all other statutory and regulatory reporting. Manage the Human Resources function. Manage timeous submission of PI grants, BBBEE, EE, WSP/ATR and related reporting. Ensuring efficient utilisation of the SAGE X3 ERP system across the business unit. Cost and cash flow management. Provide mentoring and guidance to the FM of a sister company - National Braiding Industries as and when requested. Provide support to the General Manager in terms of the day-to-day operations of the business & longer term strategising. Ensure compliance to and continuously improvement of internal controls. Act as tax public officer and timeously file tax returns. Support will be provided by the Group CFO and tax consultants. Act as company secretary, information officer (POPIA) and, if required, key person for any other applicable legislation. Support will be provided by the Group CFO and external consultants. Requirements: B Com Degree and Post Graduate qualification or other relevant financial qualification CA (SA) or CIMA will be an advantage MBA qualification will be advantageous. ERP system experience a requirement and SAGE X3 knowledge will be an added advantage A minimum of 5 years experiences as Financial Manager A minimum of 10 years overall financial related experience in a manufacturing environment. Critical thinker with good problem-solving skills. Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills.
