Financial Manager - Durbanville
The company currently has the above-mentioned vacancy for a detail-oriented individual to take responsibility for the financial management function of the group, reporting directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer and indirectly to the Group CEO and Group Managing Director. Key Performance Areas: Timeous and accurate monthly management accounts Budget and forecasting Weekly credit risk exposure overview Cash flow planning Forex management Monthly reconciliations, accruals, and journals Income Tax and VAT compliance Year-end audit preparation Reviewing and improving internal financial controls Staff management and support to the finance team Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification (BAcc / BCom) Relevant professional registration (CA / CIMA / SAIPA) 3-10 years post articles experience Relevant experience in the fruit industry will be advantageous Computer literate (MS Office) Experience with the QX system / Pastel will be advantageous Commercially minded and entrepreneurial aptitude Strong attention to detail and accuracy Multi-tasking ability and ability to prioritise Management and leadership aptitude Deadline-orientated Well-developed communication and administration skills An individual who is a team player and willing to walk the extra mile Professional integrity and honesty to deliver an excellent standard of work The company offers market related remuneration and benefits, based on the successful applicant’s experience and qualifications.
