Reference: BOK004083-CMB-1Financial Manager Qualification: BCom or BCompt Degree Minimum 5 years financial management experience Strong ERP skills (Preferably Syspro) Experience in a manufacturing industry Extensive MS Office Knowledge, especially Excel advances Experience and Duties: Develop and implement financial policies, procedures and controls to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets and forecasts in accordance with the Group requirements and timelines Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing strategic recommendations to the management team Oversee cash flow management and optimize financial resources Preparation of accurate financial reporting year end packs to the group Ensure that all transactions are accurately and correctly accounted for Ensure that all monthly reconciliations are completed and approved Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management Recommend and report upon benchmarks against which to measure organizational performance Attend monthly and quarterly board meetings and ensure that the board packs are presented and minutes are recorded correctly Ensure that all foreign transactions are hedged in accordance with the company policy Ensure that optimal working capital terms are maintained by effectively managing debtors days, creditors days and overseeing stock days Lead the procurement function, ensuring timely and cost effective sourcing of goods and services Establish relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and streamline the purchasing process Supervise the stores function. overseeing inventory management and control Implement efficient systems for tracking and managing stock levels Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in stores operations Audit and review all stock takes Ability to manage staff including developing and guiding staff by promoting a healthy corporate culture Overseeing the HR and payroll functions Review internal controls and ensure that robust internal controls are in place, including stock control Ensure all internal controls are well documented and communicated to the business Ensure that all employees are compliant with company policies Ensure accuracy and completeness of the BEE scorecard on the system Responsible for the company insurance portfolio to maintain minimal risk Critically review the risk register with the MD Assist with adhoc projects as requested by the management team and MD from time to time Be able to support the MD in CAPEX decision making Apply Now
