Reference: JHB001958-DDT -1Looking for an analytical and deadline driven Financial Manager to provide sound financial processes, policies, planning and strategies for an internationally affiliated company based in Randpark Ridge. The successful candidate has drive, loves systems and processes and shows initiative to meet objectives and continuously improves financial performance and activities.This Financial Manager also analyses financial activities and subsequently provides advice and guidance to management on future financial plans. The goal is to enable the company to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives. Minimum requirements:BCom Honours.Completed articles (SAICA /SAIPA / CIMA).Advanced Excel proficiency.Keeping to very tight deadlines.4 years’ commercial experience, ideally from the insurance sector.Managing accounts receivable and payable: Evaluating and optimizing financial controls and procedures. Updating daily transaction records and processing of payments from end to end. Managing accounts receivable and payable, as well as expenses. Keeping records of invoices, as well as processing reimbursements. Resolving account discrepancies and performing account reconciliations. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. Budget Preparation: Manage the preparation of budget. Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken. Monitor performance of actual against budget. Financial planning, analysis, and reporting: Prepare and/or review all relevant monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for management accounts and annual financial statements (AFS). Prepare input and commentary for quarterly board reporting for review and final sign off. Identifying financial liabilities and performing risk analysis on liquidity and cash flow. Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. Liaise and co-operate with auditors to ensure year end audit is completed. R 750 000 - R 780 000 - Monthly plus Discretionary performance bonus and risk benefits.
