Financial Manager - Cape Town City Centre

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors degree in finance.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Pastel experience or similar ERP.
  • Computer literacy.

DUTIES:
  • Full bookkeeping for 8 business units and Trusts.
  • Cashbook processing.
  • Payroll.
  • Manage the month-end process and cash flow at a group level.
  • GL and journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, etc.
  • Debtors management.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and tax calculations.
  • Prepare presentation packs.
  • Weekly and monthly payments approve payments.
  • Ensure that all system descriptions are updated and available for review before the commencement of the interim audit.
  • Ensure that all year-end reconciliations are available for review within the agreed timelines.
  • Overall ownership of the divisional audit process.
  • Ensure that all Tax submissions are submitted on time and that all expenses are captured and accrued for in the correct period.
