Financial Manager - East London
A client in East London is looking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing effective financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance against budget and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Coordinate and oversee audits, tax filings, and other financial activities with external partners.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, including recommendations for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and investment opportunities.
- Manage relationships with banks, lenders, and other financial institutions to secure financing and manage debt obligations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Articles
- 5 years’ experience in financial management roles
- Thorough understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
