Reference: CTF018507-CJ-1 Do you have a love for agriculture and the fruit exporting industry is a great passion? Our client is looking for a Financial Manager to join the team. You will be responsible to establish and maintain financial and management procedures for the packhouses. Ensure general ledger, farming units, department, and analysis code setup and ensure accurate and meaningful financial accounting processing in the entity's ERP system Business Central (NAVision / Business Central) Prepare monthly management journals, depreciation, and recoveries Performing monthly reconciliations and checks to ensure the integrity of financial information Debtors, creditors, and inter-company account maintenance, reconciliation, and collection/payment Compilation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs, by department/farming unit/cost centre for stakeholders (internal and external) and external financial institutions Management of annual external audit and preparation of statutory financial statements Responsible for the completion and submission of monthly VAT / SARS returns for the organisation Cash flow planning and management, budget preparation and forecasting Risk management and mitigation through maintenance of insurance cover and recovery of loss Information and knowledge sharing across farming, packhouse, and coldstore landscape of the Lona Group to drive best practice and standardisation of information, data, and procedures Skills & Experience: Excellent management and interpersonal skills Excellent numeracy and technical skills Ability to work under pressure and to be deadline-driven Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner on all levels High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Microsoft Navision/Business Central experience (advantageous) Excellent Microsoft Excel and modelling skills Power BI experience advantageous Qualification: Accounting / Financial Management degree SAICA / SAIPA / CIMA accreditation or articles Contact CORNE JONKER on 021 418 1750 , quoting the Ref: CTF018507 .
