- Qualified CA(SA) will be given preference
- ACMA/CGMA CIMA
- BCom Honours or other relevant Post Graduate finance/accounting qualification
Skills and experience required:
- 3 5 years experience within the Retail industry
- 3 5 years experience in finance management and reporting
- Must have managed a finance team directly
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong technical knowledge
- Excellent analytical skills
- Financial and management reporting
- Analysing key financial information
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Strategic input and implementation of strategies to reduce operational costs
- Gross margin analysis
- General Ledger analysis
- Financial performance reviews
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with internal customers
- Manage and lead a finance team
- Act as a business partner to multiple divisions within the group
