Financial Manager - Agricultural Industry - Klerksdorp
We have a position available for a Financial Manager in the Klerksdorp area.To qualify for this position, you will require: Chartered Accountant (CA). At least 3 years relevant experience in finance. Candidates with concurrent experience in grain and management will receive preference. Candidates with SAFEX experience will receive preference.Skills/Competencies: Management and supervisory skills. Attention to detail.The duties expected of the successful applicant are as follows but not limited to: Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategy. Assist in conducting risk management: Ensure that all the risks facing the business have been identified and remedial action plans have been implemented. Ensure that impairments are adequate and continuously assessed based on financial models which are regularly updated. Identify and implement controls for the effective and efficient functioning of the business. Report discrepancies and implement remedial action. Assist in the development, review and maintenance of policies and procedures. Assist in the reporting on the overall risk and management processes of the unit.Financial management: Ensure Business Processing is effective and efficient with proper segregation of duties. Timely reporting of any statutory requirements. Prepare and analyze financial statements. Financial and budget performance analysis and more.
