We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to oversee the finances, operations, human resources, risk, and IT functions across all our subsidiaries. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader who can drive business development, ensure financial leadership, and foster a high-performance organizational culture. We are looking for with experience in either Mining, Bulk Material Handling, Contract Mining, and Earth-moving Equipment industries. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Formulate and implement business strategies to achieve growth goals and commercial targets. Communicate business strategy effectively and drive operationalization of high-level plans. Nurture an organizational culture conducive to high performance through bold leadership, clear performance standards, and meaningful rewards. Financial Leadership: Oversee management and financial accounting, including recording and reporting. Manage tax interactions and interfaces with SARS. Lead procurement functions and investment analysis in corporate finance transactions. Drive the capital raising process for new business opportunities. Implement corporate governance control measures and internal audit processes. Ensure the well-being of our people and machinery through robust controls. Manage customer expectations and stakeholder relations. Identify and pursue business growth opportunities on-site and with potential clients. Human Resource Leadership: Manage recruitment and selection processes. Oversee training and development management. Lead performance and talent development management. Manage industrial relations and employee wellness programs. Qualifications: Bachelors of Commerce Accounting and a Postgraduate Degree or Honours CA(SA) is a distinct advantage Experience: 5 - 7 years experience in (post qualification) in a management or supervisory position in an accounting Function. Proven experience in strategic leadership and business development. Strong financial acumen with experience in financial accounting and reporting. Extensive human resources management experience. Familiarity with corporate governance and internal audit processes. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Industry experience in commodities, resources, or industrial sectors is a must. 800 000 per annum
