Job & Company Descriptions A manufacturing company is currently looking for a Operational Financial Manager to join there financial team. The Operational Finance Manager's core duties include analyzing financial data, crafting budgets/forecasts, offering strategic guidance, mitigating risks, and ensuring financial objectives harmonize with the broader organizational goals to enhance profitability and business expansion. The ideal candidate must exhibit leadership qualities, foster financial and operational efficiencies, and shoulder responsibility for enhancing overall business performance. As a Operational Financial Manager you will responsible for the following: Leading and overseeing financial accounting operations to support business expansion and monitor performance effectively. Ensuring compliance with finance governance and driving continuous improvements within the finance function. Providing detailed financial reports to illuminate business insights and aid decision-making, delivering regular management account reviews to executives. Optimizing month-end closing processes through SOP implementation and leading cost-saving initiatives. Enforcing strict adherence to group reporting timelines and financial standards. Efficiently managing working capital, including overseeing debtor and supplier relationships and controlling stock. Addressing capital expenditure needs, optimizing asset utilization, and conducting capex reporting and EVA modeling. Supervising annual financial audits, overseeing tax calculations, and ensuring timely submission of budgets and forecasts to the group. Engaging with finance team members for training, identifying areas for improvement, and fostering high team performance. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the finance department. Driving Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) and regularly reviewing and approving payroll reports. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and providing insights into manufacturing and product costing. Facilitating the importation process. Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed Bcom in Finance Completed Articles are preferred (SAICA / SAIPA / CIMA) Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position Manufacturing industry experience is preferred If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
