Reference: JHB007421-JA-1 Multi-national manufacturing and distribution concern based in the South East has an opportunity for an experienced Financial Manager to join their dynamic finance Team. This is a leadership role to analyze and present data related to the financial status of the company The candidate will use their specialized experience working with business budgets to ensure the company is growing and meeting its goals The role will require you to make recommendations to improve profitability throughout the company. Major Areas of Responsibility: Providing Financial Management Support to subsidiaries within the Group Project manage the integration of acquisitions Finance related functions in the Group's shared services Take responsibility for the financial reporting of subsidiaries to ensure that the relevant monthly financial results are timeously and accurately Ensure compliance with accounting requirements Participate in keeping operational management continually aware of the financial state of the operations and provide advice on financial and internal control Implement high standard of internal controls within the subsidiaries to protect company assets and ensure compliance with audit Take responsibility for automating and improving processes within the Finance Prepare and submit accurate annual income tax Actively participate in successful completion of statutory audits at year end within the prescribed Responsible for the completion of the annual financial statements. Participate actively in the budgeting and forecasting Ensure compliance at all times with company law, taxation law and accounting Other adhoc duties Job Requirements: Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification or BCom Honours Accounting Strong analytical skills Advanced ERP, Excel and computer skills Experience in data analytics with ODBC/SQL Good communications skills essential Minimum of 5/10 years commercial experience R 850 000 - R 1 000 000 - Annually
