This position is for a leader who will take the Financial department and make it super efficient as well as provide timeous reporting to Directors. MUST COME FROM A PROPERTY BACKGROUND - SECTIONAL TITLE A HUGE ADVANTAGE • Maintain an operating environment with effective internal control's • Oversee the operation and effective management of the accounts, creditors and debtors departments. • Proactive management and delivery of accounting services to landlords/owners including the directors. • Preparation of monthly management accounts. • Preparation of HO budgets • Management of creditor accounts as well as cash flow management. • Review creditor payments loaded by the financial administrators and ensure correctness thereof, before submitting payment for release. • Strong understanding of bank reconciliations (preparation and review), to ensure clean recons monthly. • Firm understanding on SARS compliance requirements in terms of VAT and Tax. • Prepare and submit monthly vat reports for review • Understanding of SARS Efilling, and submissions of vat returns. • Assisting in Annual Audit preparation. • Handling queries and information requested by auditors. • Any ad hoc request that arise 3-5 Years MDA Property Systems, with proven experience on financial modules • Microsoft Office Suite (Office, Excel, Word, Powerpoint) • Minimum qualifications BCom (Accounting) or similar • Strong leadership qualities, and pro-active approach to work • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with the team, senior management and owner's • Commercial and residential finance property exposure • Exposure of working on online business banking platforms 60K
