Reference: NFR004076-PvdB-1 The Finance Manager is primarily responsible to analyse financial data, develop budgets/ forecasts, provide strategic direction, manage risks, and ensure financial goals are aligned with overall organizational goals to maximize profitability and growth of the business. The candidate should be able to provide leadership, achieve financial and operational efficiencies with the business and will be accountable for driving overall business performance. Duties: Providing leadership and overseeing financial accounting, driving business growth and monitoring business performance Finance governance and monitoring. Driving continuous improvement in the finance function Financial reporting: providing insight into the business and key drivers, through complete and accurate analysis on monthly reporting to assist with decision making. Present monthly and quarterly reviews of management accounts to group/executives Drive efficient month end finalization through implementation of SOP. Understand, manage and co-ordinate cost saving initiatives. Strictly comply with group reporting timelines and ensure financial compliance of the business meets group standards. Working capital management: Debtor management, supplier relationship with key suppliers is maintained and timely payments and stock management. Understand capex requirements of the business, asset utilization, capex reporting and EVA modelling. Yearly financial audits and tax and deferred tax calculations Driving and managing the preparation of the budgets, forecasts including timely submission to group Continuous engagement with finance staff, training, identification of areas of improvement and management of the finance team, to ensure optimal performance are maintained. Job Experience & Skills Required: Relevant tertiary education (BCom). Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles (Advantageous) Minimum 5-year experience with at least 2-years' experience in a finance leadership role Previous logistics industry experience will be essential.
