Our client needs your fiscal expertise to support the day-to-day management of an established export citrus production and packhouse operation in a remote area of Limpopo. Reporting to the General Manager, key areas of focus will include: Management accounting and reporting, and budgeting Management of working capital, cash flow, and treasury matters Implementation of accounting policies, preparation of IFRS compliant AFS, and overseeing the external audit process Tax compliance Internal processes and controls General commercial and financial management IT and Enterprise Resource Planning Regulatory issues What's in it for you? Competitive remuneration Long-term career prospects within a progressive group of companies Benefits including housing and a company vehicle Potential employment for your spouse A family-oriented work environment Required core competencies: A relevant tertiary qualification in an accounting discipline At least 5 years' experience as a Finance Manager, ideally in an agricultural or agri-processing sector Proven track record in running a Medium Size Enterprise set of local accounts Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory framework in South Africa Experience in working in a multi-currency environment The ability to travel to cover regulatory and banking issues as well as port and export processes Ability to manage a team and work independently with minimal supervision Ability to perform income tax and deferred tax calculations, and oversee submission of all applicable tax returns You'll stand out if you: Are a good communicator to the Executive on managerial and financial issues Possess a grittiness to get things done in an ethical and practical manner Are a strong team player but with the capacity for own initiative, problem-solving and further development Have a good working knowledge of English and Afrikaans and/or the capacity to develop satisfactory language skills to operate in the northern districts Excited to learn more?
