Reference: NFC021597-NHa-1We're on the lookout for a skilled Operational Finance Manager to join our clients team in Bloemfontein, specializing in the vibrant industries of hospitality and entertainment. ob Description:In this role you will work in collaboration with the Finance Shared Services Centre. You will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the financial performance, financial controls, fiscal discipline and finance teams for multiple business units, to achieve business profitability and improve financial operational standards.Qualifications & Experience: BCom Honours (CTA) with Articles / equivalent Registered CA(SA) is an advantage At least 6 years’ experience in a general financial management environment Industry experience is an advantage Strong understanding of financial regulations and the legislative environment Must have management experience (min 3 years) Systems: Cognos IFS Your Team: Direct Reports: Managers and Accountants Indirect Reports: Finance Shared Services Centre, Accounting Teams at Business Units Duties (not limited to): Business Strategies, Budgets and Forecasts Overseeing the recording and delivery of administration functions of Business Units Monitoring financial performance Financial analysis of business results, identifying trends for realistic forecasts, and creating solutions for anomalies Monthly & Quarterly Forecasts Managing stock control and management process thereof Approving Purchase Requisitions for units based on approval limits Completing Annual Insurance declaration accurately according to unit financial position and requirements Developing, coaching and managing the performance of the finance operational teams to deliver business objectives Reporting on and presenting results to top and group financial management, highlighting any risk areas and remedial actions to be taken Negotiating and reaching agreements with service providers and business partners, ensuring all unit obligations are managed through an updated contract review and sign-off process APPLY NOW If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
