We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join a prominent IT company based in the Plattekloof area. The Financial Manager will have a team of accountants and clerks reporting to them. They will oversee the daily accounting process of the business as well as be responsible for the monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting. As a Financial Manager, you will be expected to provide a high standard of financial and business reports and analysis that will assist the executives in making key decisions for the business. • Supervise daily financial operations • Review monthly reconciliations • Manage treasury functions • Complete month-end processes including monthly journal preparations • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports • Prepare and oversee annual audits and financial statements • Conduct financial analysis • Drive process improvement initiatives • Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned by the Managing Director • Matric • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required • SAIPA , CIMA advantageous • Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience (excluding article time frame) • Proficient in financial analysis and reporting • Advanced proficiency in Excel including lookups and pivot tables • Experience with SAGE and Pastel Partner • Ability to develop financial and operational models Person Requirements: Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects Have a flare for numbers, work well with people, aggressively anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines, and have a very positive work attitude Ability to be flexible and able to work as part of a team Ability to work under pressure Problem solving skills Strong account management skills Reside in the Northern suburbs Fluent in Afrikaans and English Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements highlighted above If you do not receive feedback within 2 weeks of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful.
