Landsdowne Property Group is searching for an experienced Financial Manager to lead our finance department. The Financial Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, monitoring financial transactions, implementing effective financial controls and procedures. The role also involves preparing management reports, analyzing financial data, and providing recommendations for improvement. Financial Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of finance professionals. Provide guidance, support, and training to team members. Accounting Records Management: Oversee the maintenance of accurate accounting records for all clients. Monitor financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures. Keep track of municipal accounts and reconciliations. Management Reporting: Prepare management reports monthly, providing insights into financial performance and trends. Analyse financial data and provide recommendations for improvement. Review annual financial statements. Payment Management: Coordinate the timely processing of payments to suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders. Financial Meetings and Presentations: Prepare and present financial information, including budgets, forecasts, and variances, to various stakeholders. Must come from a Property Background - Sectional Title advantageous Relevant BCom degree, e.g. Accounting / Financial Management 5 Years' relevant work experience. Computer literacy: Strong MS Excel skills. Experience with MDA property system advantageous WeconnetU system experience desired
