Ensure a proper financial closure at the month's end and that the necessary monthly financial reports are produced, approved and filed. Prepare and Analyze Management accounts. Oversee Financial Year-end Audit, Compile Reports and preparation for Board of Directors' meetings and other Company secretarial duties. Prepare the Annual Winehouse budgets (Sales, P&L, Cash, Capex) for presentation and approval by the Board of Directors. Prepare high level forecast annually. Calculate annual company tax payable, obtain approval from Auditors and pay via e-filing. Handle queries with SARS. Calculate and submit monthly VAT and excise payable. Responsible to implement, review and improve the necessary financial policies, procedures, processes in the department and controls mechanisms in the rest of the company in accordance with IFRS and IAS for SME's. Manage and report on company's Foreign Currency exposure. Manage company weekly and monthly Cash Flow and Working Capital requirements, financial resources, credit control and liquidity. Renew annual insurance policies and assist with claims. Communicate with bankers and manage banking platforms – local & export. Responsible for all supplier agreements and credit applications | customer pricing & applications. Administer automated accruals (sales cost charges) on the ERP system. Responsible for Capex Budgets and overseeing the fixed asset register & depreciation. Managing financial portion of annual BBBEE audit Degree in Financial Accounting. Honors in Financial Accounting will be beneficial. Must be a member of an accredited accounting body or be a registered tax practitioner. SAIPA (Registered PA) or Junior CA(SA). 1 - 2 years' post article experience in financial management in a finance department of a medium sized commercial entity. Previous experience in Business Central will be beneficial. Advanced Tax Qualification will be beneficial. Working experience in the Wine industry will be beneficial. Experience in working with foreign currency will be beneficial. Advanced computer skills (Advanced Excel and Intermediate MS Word), Knowledge of ERP, IFRS, IAS and GAAP Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures and implementation of internal controls, policies and procedures Well-organized and attentive to detail Ability to lead and motivate a team.
