Excellent experience from General experience in the manufacturing, building, construction, and/or engineering industry. Salary Very Negotiable plus medical aid, pension, and overtime Min Requirements Matric Relevant qualification will be an added advantage Health and Safety Course an added bonus Production Planning and Control Receiving stock orders for finished goods General experience in the manufacturing, building, construction and or engineering industry Factory loading and capacity experience. Experience in quality of product and service. A working knowledge of SANS 282, 920, and 1024. Responsibilities – Summarized: Leadership skills and knowledge of ISO 9000 quality systems. Knowledge of procedures and work instructions Basic mechanical knowledge of production machinery, procedures, and work instructions. To plan and coordinate the yard production and yard activities. To manage and control maintenance activities. Ensure yard SHEQ Procedures are adhered to and maintained. Liaise with internal and external clients in terms of production planning and production activities. Ensure stock levels are correct and controlled Responsible for K.P.I’s such as labor cost, transport cost, scrap control and meeting production targets. Maintain and manage yard effectively, including man-hours and production costs. Maintain a minimum level of off-cuts as possible. Control transport in and out.
