We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Fitter to join a leading plastic manufacturing company. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, contributing to the production of high-quality plastic products. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment in the manufacturing plant. Responsibilities Install and commission new machinery and equipment Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues Ensure all machinery and equipment are in good working condition Adhere to safety and quality standards Collaborate with colleagues and management to optimize production processes Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs Provide training and support to junior technicians if required Requirements Trade Certificate as a Fitter Prior experience working in the plastic manufacturing industry Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience 5-7 years experience in maintenance Strong mechanical aptitude Knowledge of plastic injection moulding machines and extrusion lines Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Attention to detail and strong time management skills Benefits Salary: negotiable.
