A well established and thriving Casting Foundry based in Boksburg is seeking a dedicated and reliable certified Fitter and Turner with electrical, mechanical, and preventative foundry plant maintenance experience to join their team Responsible for troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving any issues that may arise from dealing with any of the equipment or tooling Familiar with foundry plant predictive and preventative maintenance Provide support to the Maintenance Manager and management team in daily plant operations Make sure all safeguards of equipment are installed and maintained as needed to conform to OSHA regulations Assist in set up of existing or new fixtures for machine or assembly Complies with safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as and when required Proactive approach to plant safety Matric Fitter & Turner Trade certification MUST BE familiar with electrical, mechanical, and preventative foundry plant maintenance Preventative maintenance (min 2 years) Mechanical maintenance (min 2 years) Understanding of electrical maintenance on foundry plant equipment Must be familiar with foundry maintenance (not negotiable) Welding certifications are a plus but not a requirement R20 000 – R25 000 CTC (includes MA and Pension) (depending on qualification and experience)
