In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment in a mining environment. Responsibilities Execute maintenance routines and repairs on machinery and equipment Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment functionality Collaborate with the maintenance team to optimize workflow and efficiency Adhere to safety regulations and procedures Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians if required Requirements Grade 12 Trade Certificate as a Fitter Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Fitter in the mining industry Strong knowledge of mining equipment and machinery Experience in hydraulic and mechanical systems Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Benefits Salary: R500K-R700K per year Family Responsibility Leave (if applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
