Manufacturing Plant based in Pietermaritzburg, requires the fill the position of a qualified and experienced Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our facilities. Installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of industrial equipment , including: 10 bar & 40 bar compressors Hydraulic pump systems Chiller systems Perform preventative maintenance according to established protocols to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work area , adhering to all safety regulations. Work collaboratively with other technicians and engineers to achieve common goals. Qualified Fitter with a completed trade test. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a factory or industrial setting. Demonstrated experience with 10 bar & 40 bar compressors, hydraulic pump systems, and chiller systems. Strong understanding of preventative maintenance principles and practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Hands-on approach with a knack for mechanical troubleshooting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a team.
