Abovementioned candidate who has exp in the FMCG industry, specifically seamer exp, will be responsible for the identification of defective or worn mechanical components or equipment, repair/replacement of worn/faulty components or equipment, and modifications thereof. Responsibilities: Perform preventative and predictive maintenance as assigned, including cleaning, and lubricating in order to maintain the proper working order of filling and seaming equipment and machinery. Dismantle, evaluate, and rebuild fillers and seamers as needed. Focus on quality of workmanship by doing the job right the first time and be accountable for results. Make decisions that are “best for the business” with regards to maintenance and overall productivity. Perform proper rigging and lifting of equipment and machinery as needed using hoists, cranes, and other rigging equipment. Keep accurate up to date records of work orders, maintenance activities, and needed repairs utilizing Shopware to maintain proper records. Document all seam adjustments in maintenance logbooks in order to maintain corporate quality requirements. Maintain continuity among work teams by using DMS/Shopware to document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Follow Maintenance Standard Procedures and seek to improve machinery specific procedures where possible. Share knowledge and experience with others including dedicated training as assigned. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Requirements: Qualified Mechanical Artisan (NTC3 & Trade Test Certificate), Seamer and or equivalent qualification Experience in Canning is compulsory. Experience in Seamers, Cookers and general FMCG plant equipment At least 5 Years proven experience in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) environment. Microsoft Office package (MS Excel, MS Outlook) and computer maintenance management system. Must be able and willing to work shifts, extended hours and perform standby duties.
