Hire Resolve's client in the Logistics Industry, is seeking the expertise of a Fleet Controller to join their team in Gauteng. The Fleet Controller is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a fleet of vehicles in the logistics industry. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Plan and coordinate the daily activities of drivers and vehicles in the fleetMonitor driver performance and ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresTrack vehicle locations and schedules using GPS systems and logistics softwareTroubleshoot and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transportationMaintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and driver hoursCommunicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and clients to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goodsImplement safety protocols and regulations to ensure compliance with industry standardsProvide leadership and guidance to the fleet team to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfactionRequirements:3 Years of proven experience in fleet management or logistics operationsStrong knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in logistics software and GPS tracking systemsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyStrong decision-making and problem-solving abilitiesAttention to detail and accuracy in record-keepingValid driver's license and clean driving recordBachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred) Knowledge of logistics operational procedures and documentationContact Hire Resolve today for your next career-changing moveOur client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Ashley Feldtmann at Hire Resolve or on LinkedInYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: logisticshireresolve.za.com See Description See Description
