Main purpose of the Job:
Ensure the companys vehicle fleet is well maintained and kept in a presentable manner at all times, ultimately aiming to extend the economic lifetime of the vehicle/equipment, reduce downtime and meeting the requirements for distribution.
Preferred Requirements:
- Matric
- Relevant formal tertiary qualification (Transport Economics, Transport Management, etc.).
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of fleet management principles, legislative requirements for licencing, procurement and disposal of commercial vehicles.
- Knowledge and understanding of how efficient vehicle management integrates into a total supply chain environment.
- Knowledge of key measurables generally associated with the management of a vehicle fleet.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical workings of a commercial vehicle as well as refrigeration units.
- Administration and Management Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of resources.

- Well-developed statistical and analytical skills.
