- Collaborate with buyers/retailers on seasonal ranges.
- Build and nurture relationships with retail buyers and decision-makers. Understand their business models, target audience, and preferences.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of our products while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor market trends and innovations to suggest new products that align with design visions and sustainability goals.
- Analyse sales plans, budgets and forecast across customers.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers, working together to ensure a smooth supply process.
- Min 3-5 years' experience in sales/merchandising/product development within the fashion/clothing industry.
- Min 3-5 years experience dealing with fashion imports.
- Familiarity with properties and production processes of any of the following: clothing, footwear or accessories.
- Must be willing to travel potentially locally and abroad.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good with numbers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be sales driven and be able to close deals and trade.
- Exceptional technical merchandising skills.
- Proven ability to interpret trends.
- Proven ability to conceptualise product.
- A passion for product environment.
- Energy.
- Innovative.
- Team Player
