Participate in continuous improvement projects. Ensure that all administrative duties are completed. Adhere to section cost control measures Developing a high-performance team Plant and office-based, Standby required- plant operates 365 days of the year, 24 hours, 7 days a week Deciding initiating action Leading supervising Working with people Planning organizing Delivering results meeting customer expectations Analysing data and making data-driven decisions Following instructions procedures To effectively coordinate Cellhouse operation by ensuring staff and plant machinery are optimal to achieve high-volume production goals in a safe, cost-effective, and environmentally sustainable manner. The Cellhouse Foreman plays a pivotal role in overseeing the final stage of our integrated process to manufacture high-grade Electrolytic Manganese Metal (EMM). Reporting directly to Plant Manager, this role leads a team of six supervisors and indirectly overseeing approximately 120 personnel. The primary responsibility is to optimize resources, processes, methods and practices within the Cellhouse to achieve maximum production targets while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with HSEQ policies. The plant is a fully integrated beneficiation process comprising of multiple stages and operates continuously for 365-days. The process stages include ore milling, ore reduction in rotary kilns, leaching, purification and electrowinning i.e., Cellhouse. Much focus is placed on using current efficiently in the 58 000Ampere single circuit cellhouse. MMC operates on a 24hr/365-day basis. Success in this role happens when the desired uptime and throughput of equipment is achieved at the lowest cost.
