We are on the lookout for an experienced Mechanical Foreman to supervise the activities of the mechanical workshop team, ensuring equipment reliability, overhaul rotable equipment, general turning and machining and other related activites to be carried out for plant availability. As a Mechanical Foreman you will be responsible for: Short term planning and annual shut planning Safety, health and environmental issues Managing and prioritizing maintenance process compliance on SAP Continuous improvement of the Mechanical maintenance function Budget control Monitoring the performance of the mechanical workshop team Fault finding and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime Accurate reporting Overseeing learning and development of artisans, aides and apprentices in the team What are we looking for? Full N3 Certificate or equivalent Mechanical Trade Test Certificate (Fitter & Turner, Fitter) 7 years experience as a Trade Tested Artisan in a heavy industry environment 2 years mechanical workshop supervisory/leadership experience is an advantage Experience in the Pulp & Paper industry is an advantage SAP experience is an advantage Valid driver's licence What's in it for you?
