We are recruiting for a Forester in the Eastern Cape. This position is responsible for the daily execution of field activities to ensure that operations are executed in a cohesive manner, reaching targets on time, on budget and meeting quality standards. The Forester has specific compartments with specific staff teams of responsibility. This position reports to the Project Manager. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS A bachelor's degree in forestry, agriculture or conservation or proven experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree 5 years' experience Proven experience managing large teams of unskilled and semi-skilled workers Willingness to work in difficult and remote areas – rain or shine Driving license, with off road driving experience and clean driving record Mapping and GIS skills, a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Word and Excel
